IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL BIDDERS

NEW COMMISSION FEE:16.5% of the hammer price will be added on to the final hammer price on a per-lot basis.

For example: if the final hammer price is 1,500,000 JPY (Hammer Price: 1,500,000 JPY+16.5% Commission Fee: 247,500 JPY=Total Purchase Price: 1,747,500 JPY)

(No Japanese taxes will be imposed on your purchases)

WRITTEN BIDS:
If you wish to place a bid, please fill out the absentee bids form at the link below and send it back to us either by email (art@mallet.co.jp) or fax (+81-3-5635-1778) along with a photocopy of your ID (passport, ID card or driver's license) by 6:00 PM JST, Wednesday, 13th May at the latest (No ID is necessary if you have previously participated). We must receive all documentation for new registrations by 6:00 PM JST, Wednesday, 13th May or we may no longer be able to accept new applications in time for the auction.

Please note that we only accept bids in Japanese Yen and be sure to specify your maximum bid price in Japanese Yen as well.

TELEPHONE BIDS:
In order to qualify for telephone bidding, you must intend to bid within or above the estimate range. To place a telephone bid please fill out the telephone bids form at the link below and send it back to us either by email (info@mallet-i.com) or fax (+81-3-5635-1778) along with a photocopy of your ID (passport, ID card or driver's license). No ID is necessary if you have previously participated. We must receive all documentation for new registrations by 6:00 PM JST, Tuesday, 12th May or we may no longer be able to accept new applications in time for the auction. Please note that the telephone lines are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and must be arranged no later than 6:00 PM JST, Tuesday, 12th May.

Please note that we will not accept more than 7 telephone bids per customer, per auction. If you would like to bid on more than 7 lots, please place a mixture of telephone and absentee bids.

Also please be advised that Mallet Japan/ Mallet International assumes NO responsibility for failure to execute a telephone bid for any reason. We also strongly recommend that you leave a backup absentee bid in case of any eventuality. If you would like our telephone operator to bid on your behalf in case we are unable to reach you during the auction by phone, please indicate your backup bids on the bidding form.

ONLINE LIVE BIDS:
We do not currently have our own live online bidding service available. If you register with Invaluable, you will be able to bid online via Invaluable platform. In this case, however, there will be an extra 5% Invaluable commission fee to be added on to your invoice.

ONLINE LIVE STREAMING - 3:00PM JST, Thurday, 14th May
The auction will be streamed live online via Youtube. Our live stream can be used to prepare for incoming phone calls for those clients who are placing telephone bids. Please do not use this service during phone bidding as there is a time lag. Please see our homepage for the latest link to our live stream.

1. MALLET INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION FEES
There is a commission fee which will be added to the final hammer price on a per-lot basis.
The fee is 16.5% of the final hammer price.

(No Japanese taxes will be imposed on your purchases)

2. PAYMENT/ DUE DATE
If your bids were successful, we will send you an invoice after the auction by e-mail. Please send the remittance via wire transfer to the bank account below in Japanese Yen by Monday, 25th May. (The client is responsible for wire transfer bank charges, not Mallet International. Please make sure to select the "Pay beneficiary in full" option when making your transfer at the bank, or we will not receive the full intended amount. If the bank charges are not paid, you will be invoiced for these charges).

IMPORTANT : If the payment is not confirmed within 13 days from the date of the auction, which is Wednesday, 27th May for this sale, you will be charged additional default interest to the outstanding balance.

3. PACKING/ SHIPPING
If required, Mallet International can make packing/shipping arrangements for your purchases at your expense. Packing and insurance fees will be indicated on the invoice as optional. The packing fee will be approximately 12,000 to 30,000 JPY depending on the dimensions and number of items purchased.

Please note, however, that shipping costs will NOT be included in the invoice. Shipping fee quotes are available upon request, and for further assistance with your shipping arrangements, please contact us at any time. Clients are most welcome to send shipping and packing fees together with the main purchase cost. We will make arrangements upon receipt of your payment. Clients with FedEx, DHL, UPS or TNT Express accounts can have shipping costs charged directly to their account.

Please note that Mallet International will NOT be taking on any personal requests when filling out documents for customs and shipping as we are obliged to follow international customs and shipping regulations. Thank you for your understanding.

In addition to the expenses mentioned above, you may also be liable to pay taxes/custom duties on the shipment upon entry to the destination country. It will be charged directly to the recipient and unfortunately we are unable to estimate the possible charges. For further details, please contact your local customs office.

4. INSURANCE
Items are NOT covered by insurance and will be shipped at your own risk. If you would like us to arrange insurance on your behalf, the fee will be 0.32% of the full purchase price (hammer price plus Mallet International commission fees). Please note that the minimum price is 3,000 JPY. Therefore, if the purchase price was less than 937,500 JPY, the cost of insurance will be 3,000 JPY regardless of the original purchase price. (*This is not applicable if the total amount of the purchase price is over 10,000,000 JPY. Please contact us for details.)
